First, check the UTM installation on your websites landing pages. The easiest way to do this is to clear out your cookies and visit the landing page. Once the page has loaded in your browser, check your cookies. If you do not see Google's cookies then there is a problem with your UTM installation.

Another possible problem may be the configuration of your Master Tracking File (if you're using one). Again, check your cookies. Look at the value of the utmz cookie. If you see "utmcid=" in the cookie value then the cookies are being set and stored correctly. Next, check the Page Query Terms report in Google Analytics. Look for the "utm_id" variable and view the values. If Urchin is capturing the variable and the value of your master tracking code then there is probably an issue with your master tracking file.

The most common mistake people make with their master tracking file is incorrectly specifying the "#Fields:" column. Make sure the first column in the master tracking file is labeled "#Fields:".
