Can we import our website data from Google Analytics? (posted: 8/4/2008)

Positive Negative

At this time there is no True import or export of raw data for Google Analytics. Any of the reports within Google Analytics can be exported in .PDF, .XML, .CSV or .TSV formats. The export will
need to be performed on a report by report basis. How detailed can we get in the segmentation? Can I find out, for example, what percentage of visitors who live in Russia and who
came in through Yahoo Search and who use Firefox actually converted?

Currently we can go one level deep with segmentation. For instance, if we're looking at data for an Ad Group and I segment by "Browser" I can not then segment again by Country. To date
we've gotten around this by segmenting at the profile level through filters. For instance, we could create a filter to only include data for visitors coming from the state of Vermont. We then know that all data within the reports has already been segmented once at the "profile" level, so we only need to perform one additional segmentation once within the reports.
