Does Google Analytics create a new log source for a duplicate profile?
Using Google Analytics you can create duplicate profiles for existing websites. This is helpful if you want to apply a filter to the data for more in depth analysis. When a duplicate profile is create it share's the log source that already exists for the original profile. For example, if you have three profiles for www.foo.com, they all share the same log source on the Google servers. If you delete one of the profiles the log source remains unchanged.
