Some insight on Google AdWords Mobile Advertising.
As an AdWords advertiser you have the ability to create advertisements that are delivered to mobile devices. However, there are some additional requirements that mobile ads must follow that text and image ads do not. For one, your ads must point to a mobile viable website. Currently the advertisements can only point to sites that use the (WAP 1. x), xhtml (WAP 2.0), chtmle (imode, etc.), and PDA-complaint html markup languages. The nice part is Google gives you the option to create a free business page for mobile ads. Additionally, your ad can only have 18 characters in the headline and 18 characters in the description, so you will need to get to the point quick. Finally, you can only advertise in mobile networks in the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia, but expect that to changes as the market develops.
