I see a lot of impressions in my AdWords account and would like to know if they have an additional cost?

You will only get charged for advertisement impressions if you are
conducting a site targeted ad campaign. Advertisements that are
keyword targeted to the Search Network and Content Network only incur
charges if somebody clicks on them. Hope this helps.
